My dear friend, what a journey I’ve been on over the past few weeks (and months, and years)!

I’m teeming over with gratitude today as I sit in my local coffee shop in Philadelphia where they know my name and I can stay for hours at a time watching the world pass by through two walls of picture windows.

Sitting on the table next to me are three stones: angelite and blue lace agate, which both correspond to the throat chakra and communication, and my shiny, grounding hematite, which was a birthday present back in November, which is the last time I published a blog post on my website.

Maybe you can relate to this: last year I was bopping along posting 1 – 3 times a month and then I just . . . stopped.

A few weeks went by, and then a few months, and then friends started asking why they hadn’t gotten my newsletter in a while, and I got more and more anxious about posting, and my perfectionism kicked into full steam ahead, and the prospect of writing and sending something out got more and more difficult in my mind and and and . . . yuchhhkk.

As my teacher Sophia says when her perfectionism voice comes up, “Aw, that’s so sweet, you want to be perfect? Well, we’re going to go ahead and do this anyhow, but thanks for letting me know that you want to be perfect darling, I love you.”

It’s time to just start writing, making, and sharing regularly again. On that note, expect emails from me on Saturday mornings going forward.

Another part of what’s kept me from writing recently is that I’ve been super busy LIVING! I just got home from a month long trip between Baltimore – New Mexico – Florida – New York – Baltimore – and back to Philadelphia. I currently have a zillion stories percolating about healing, synchronicity, magic, teachers, tools, music, and links to share with you.

I’m really bursting with excitement to show you the exact steps I took to fly everywhere for free over the past month, all of the new ways I’ve been learning how to pray and get high with God, and details about my upcoming art show in Philadelphia.

The third speed bump that’s made me hesitate to write recently — that we’re just going to blast through together — is this:

I don’t 100% know what I’m offering in my business right now. What’s my main thing?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know I’m an artist. I know that I’m I’m all about the healer’s path: let’s take the last two and a half years of my own life as supporting evidence on that front. I know that I love sharing all of the yummy stuff that I’m learning about in life.

So, what’s the best way to distill that with you?

Some options include graphic novels, ebooks, one on one energy healing sessions in person, personalized coaching phone calls for entrepreneurs, group classes on healing, ecourses, experimental videos, speaking engagements, intimate weekend retreats, space clearings at your house, workshops on making alters, creating art and guest posting around the internet, selling prints of my photographs, syndicating a comic, I could keep going.

I know that fundamentally this is a great problem to have: too many things I love! But also it’s been feeling kind of paralyzing over here, having so many ideas about what to do with my life force, with my time, and with my gifts.

What’s been suggested is to give myself permission to let go of perfectionism and just freakin start playing with these offerings. Just start. Keep going. Progress not perfection.

And also, it’s been suggested that I get super transparent about the process as we go. It’s not perfect over here, but I’m still going forward, and I cherish your witnessing and love on this unfolding path.

In that vein, today you’re getting directed to my new url, healwithleah.com. I didn’t want to start using this url until my design was PERFECT (do you sense a theme here? Any other recovering perfectionists out there get my vibe?) — well, it just isn’t perfect, and we’re gonna go forward on this url anyhow.

As I create new things — books, courses, offerings — the design on this website is going to change. My logo is going to change. My colors are going to change. My layout and copy is going to change. And if you don’t care about any of that, cool, no problem!

And if you do care about watching this all unfold, you’ll have a front row seat and I’ll be so honored get your feedback whenever something new resonates.

Alrighty, that’s enough for right now. I’ll catch you next Saturday with some notes on my recent trip and how I flew all around the country for zero $.

Biggest love & appreciation,
Leah
